The Rose Wine Expo Festival - Kazanlak is a three-day wine fiesta, which is held every June as part of the traditional annual Rose Festival in the Valley of Roses and Thracian Kings.
As part of the festival, a national contest for best Rosé is held and wine producers proudly exhibit their wines for all to taste.
The town of Kazanlak is a buzz with activities during these few days in June. You will find a wealth of art, food stands, musical performances, folklore dancing and, of course, roses and rose oil everywhere!
The festival combines „The Golden Kylix“ National Contest for the best Rosé wine of Bulgaria, a trade ahow of both established and emerging wine-producing companies from Bulgari and abroad, and a gourmet zone to delight the senses with its presentation of innovative food and cosmetic natural products, which can complement wine and its derivatives .
The wealth of art accompanying the festival follows the concept of the ancient Thracian celebrations of Orpheus, and it combines music, dance and painting with wine. The days of the event provide an opportunity for local artists to present their talent to a wider audience.
